Is Bead Combers jewelry made with real silver?

YES. Unless otherwise stated, all items on this web site are made of real sterling silver (at least 92.5% silver content). Many items are complemented with beautiful gems and natural stones such as genuine Onyx, Pearl and Turquoise.

What do I have to do to place an order?

Ordering is easy. Just add the items of your choice to your shopping cart and the rest is simple. Payment can be made simply, safely and securely via our SSL server. For all website orders, we accept Visa,Mastercard & Discover only. You also have the option of e-mailing (orders@beadcombers.com), calling (508)243-8006 or faxing (781)383-0950 your order in as well. We also accept PAYPAL.

What are the engraving costs and how long will it take for me to receive my order?

Engraving is absolutely FREE on 1 side! Additional side(s) are $5.00 per side. Please allow 10-14 days for delivery on monogrammed products and 3-5 days on all other purchases unless otherwise noted or contacted.

What if I am not satisfied with the products?

RETURN POLICY

If you are not satisfied with our products and wish to make a return or exchange, please contact our Customer Service department at orders@beadcombers.com to reject your order within 14 days of the time you received your order. You must email us prior to returning any item (or items) for refund or exchange with the item number and obtain a return authorization number that must be included in the address. Your payment will be refunded to you as soon as our product(s) is returned via a traceable courier (USPS express mail, or registered mail). Please note that Monogramed products can only be returned due to damage of product.

You are always responsible for paying the credit card processing fees incurred and any non-refundable shipping fees. Cost of delivering the exchanged items will be the responsibility of the customer.

Sorry, we cannot provide a refund for goods damaged by wrongful usage, improper handling and packages received that do not have a return authorization number.

There will be a restringing fee of $10.00 per strand for bracelets/necklaces that were ordered over 3 months prior.

How do I take care of my sterling silver jewelry?

Your sterling silver jewelry is a metal that is meant to be worn. If you just leave it lying around, it will tarnish. To prevent tarnishing while you're not wearing it, it is recommended that you keep your sterling silver in an air-tight protective bag wrapped in a silver polishing cloth, or a plastic zip lock bag. Although your jewelry is scratch resistant it isn't scratch proof, so we recommend that you store your jewelry so that it isn't rubbing up against other articles, like in a loose drawer or jewelry box. Also, when storing remember that exposing it to air promotes tarnishing. Avoid storing your sterling silver jewelry directly on wood surfaces, because wood usually contains acids that can mar the finish. Also, avoid storing your sterling silver with other metals.

Clean your sterling silver jewelry with a soft jewelry polishing cloth or wipe. We highly recommend the Connoisseurs brand Dry Silver Polishing Wipes. You will find this brand in the jewelry section of any Wal-Mart. Remember silver is a very soft metal and you can scratch it if you aren't careful so don't rub it too briskly. To remove light dirt, fingerprints or makeup just use a small amount of mild liquid detergent to a 1/2 cup of warm water and rinse thoroughly with clean fresh water. This method is best used for sterling only. (Remember to be careful because too much water or any harsh cleansers could damage the polish on the stones.) Dry it completely before storing it in an air tight zip lock bag. A silver cloth or wipe is the best way to remove tarnish from jewelry. We do not recommend dip polish cleaners because it can be harmful to your precious stones as well as robbing the lustre from high-polish sterling. Rub with a lengthwise motion, never clean in a circular motion because this may cause scratches. If you wear your sterling silver jewelry regularly, your body oils help to keep the tarnishing down and cleaning to a minimum. Make sure you remove any trace of the polish from gemstones and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Never use anything but a clean 100% cotton or a special sterling silver cleaning cloth or wipe. Paper, polyester, and coarse fabrics often contain wood fibers or synthetics that can cause tiny scratches in the surface of your fine sterling silver jewelry. Dirt left over from previous cleanings can scratch the surface as well.

Will my personal information be safe over the net?

Definitely. We only use your personal information for the purpose of record keeping and shipping your order. In some occasions, we may contact you to inform about our upcoming promotions or sales. Your personal record will NOT be shared or used by anyone else for any other purposes whatsoever.

Can I send my order to a different address?

Certainly, once you have finished shopping, you will be prompted to fill out your address and the address of which you wish to have your order sent. These two addresses may or may not be the same.

How will my gift be packaged?

We sent each piece in an organza bag and place items in a light blue “take out” box. Please specify that it is a gift and we will send each piece in its own take out box and tie it with fun ribbons!!

Who can sell Bead Combers?

Anyone!!! Specialty and jewelry stores, home sales entrepreneurs, catalogs, web sites, corporate entities, and others have found Bead Combers to be a profitable and fulfilling career and/or offering to their customers.

If I do want to sell Bead Combers do I have to buy a monogram display?

Only if you want to purchase monogrammed items. Our displays provide a convenient and attractive representation of our best selling monogrammed pieces. The display is $550.00, but we can customize a “trunk” to fit your budget and marketplace!!!

Can I order items not on my monogram display?

Yes. Once you are set up with a monogram display or your initial trunk (sample kit) you can order any other monogrammed piece in the catalog.

Is ordering monogram jewelry easy?

Yes. All of the items are pictured on the back of the display for easy reference, we provide an order pad and a finger sizer, and you merely e-mail, fax or eventually order on-line.

What is your minimum order and other fees?

Once you are set-up as a monogram distributor there are no minimums. Order as often as you like. For corporate, fashion jewelry, and sorority orders there is a $100 minimum. For collegiate orders, there is a $75 minimum per school ordered. There is a $50 monthly distributor fee for non-retail locations. This includes: e-mail address; monthly sales conference calls; unlimited access to Bead Combers Corporate Staff; quarterly marketing programs, ads and newsletters etc….

What are your billing terms?

We keep a credit card on file and charge it as orders are placed. Invoices are e-mailed and sent with orders.

What is your turnaround time?

For monogram orders the turnaround time is usually just 5 days. Other items are usually sent within 48 hours unless otherwise contacted. Corporate, Collegiate, and Sorority orders may take slightly longer depending on the number of pieces.

What is your shipping cost?

For all orders we charge $5.00 shipping. We can drop ship to a residence. This is generally a flat fee of $5.00 total shipping. This includes packaging of an organza bag and take out box.

We will process your credit card on a Electronic credit card machine to verify your billing address. If your billing address is different then what is provided by your credit card bank then it will cause a delay in your shipment or cause us to cancel it.
